About White Hall Vineyards Viognier
Extremely ripe grapes were pressed after harvest, the wine was then barrel-fermented at cool temperatures for richness, with malolactic fermentation inhibited to keep the acidity vibrant. The result is a brightly aromatic wine that is a beautiful example of Virginia‚Äôs ‘signature’ white grape, with vivid floral notes and weight typical of a Viognier. Aged 40% in neutral oak and 60% in stainless steel and bottled with screw cap closures.
